Shipyard Point Glassworks was launched in the spring of 2002 because of Beverly Lamoureux's need for a home-based business which encompassed the ever changing demands of a family. She has had a lifelong fascination with molten glass and how it is manipulated into graceful yet rigid forms. Ms. Lamoureux now creates small organically-shaped pieces including tiny mouth-blown vessels with fanciful stoppers and whimsical beads for use in her own projects as well as those of other artists.
